My Story
I am a registered physiotherapist and a Western University graduate with a Masters in Physical Therapy. My clinical approach is centered on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. This allows me to appreciate the significance and purpose behind each of my client’s goals to provide individualized therapy.
I spend time exploring different avenues for pain and dysfunction that could include biomechanical loading, tissue damage, inflammation, stress and anxiety, thoughts and beliefs, past experiences and sleep health. By understanding the root cause of pain and/or dysfunction, I am able to apply holistic, evidence-based therapy that may include manual therapy, neural mobilization, dry needling, pain science education, and sport specific conditioning. Ultimately, my goal is to restore meaningful function through rehabilitation and injury prevention to empower my clients to live active lifestyles.
Fun facts about me: I keep active with basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, weight-training and hikes with my dog whenever possible.
